Lunasa, named after “Lughnasadh”, an ancient Irish harvest festival, explodes on stage using traditional instruments such as Uilleann pipes, fiddle, flute, guitar, and double bass. With “Folk Album of the Year” and “Best Traditional Album” nominations to their credit, these world class musicians keep the intensity alive through their contemporary Irish fusion music.
