Grey Gardens The Musical

[REBROADCAST] Grey Gardens the Musical will be playing at the Suzanne Roberts Theater until June 28th. It’s based on the 1975 David and Albert Maysles documentary of the same name about a reclusive mother and daughter, former socialites, who lived in squalor in a dilapidated mansion in East Hampton, NY. They were the first cousin and aunt of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Grey Gardens was adapted into a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical in 2006. We’ll talk to the creators of the show: lyricist MICHAEL KORIE, composer SCOTT FRANKEL and DOUG WRIGHT, who wrote the book. Listen to the mp3
