Fast food workers in New York City will get a big bump in their pay over the next few years. Their minimum wage will increase incrementally from the current $8.75 an hour to $15 by 2018. Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles have also raised their minimum wage. But the issue continues to be hotly debated. She’s the author of The Good Jobs Strategy: How the Smartest Companies Invest in Employees to Lower Costs and Boost Profits.
