Election Day impact

First Look this week dives into the impact of Tuesday’s vote. Will the Republican strategy make a difference a few years from now?

State of Play

Our State of Players are here this week to look back on the impact of Tuesday’s election. There will be some new faces this year in Dover, but basically the leadership will stay the same. We look at the agenda shaping up for next spring.

First Person: Gov. Jack Markell

Wednesday we were talking politics, today we want to look at what’s ahead for Delaware. Are funding improvements to infrastructure and cleaning up the state’s waterways top priorities? Are we going to be talking about gas taxes and an annual fee again when the General Assembly’s new session begins? Joining us as our First Person guest this week to discuss all of this is Delaware Governor Jack Markell.

Delaware Today

It’s been 25 years since the 1989 conviction of a Delaware serial killer who terrorized the Route 40 corridor, preying on young women in 1987 and 1988. We teamed up with Delaware Today Magazine for the story of Steven Pennell. We hear from both the prosecutor and the undercover cop who helped break the case.

The Tornoe Spin

The run-up to any election is always a mixture of excitement and dread. After the election is done there is always a letdown, plus the anticipation of what’s next. Rob Tornoe has the perfect drawing to set the mood.

First Experience: Man’s Best Friend

Over 30% of Americans own a dog. They make for great pictures and serve as an inspiration for many artists. This week’s First Experience visits the Somerville Manning Gallery in Greenville, where art has gone to the dogs. We get a look at how some famous artists have captured their dogs’ images in some beautiful work showcasing man’s best friend.
