Filmmaker Ramin Bahrani

    Meet Iranian-American Filmmaker, RAMIN BAHRANI, whose simple, yet moving work has garnered him praise from critics as a director to watch. His latest film, “Goodbye Solo,” is a story about a Senegalese immigrant cabdriver in North Carolina and his old, crusty passenger. Previous films include, “Chop Shop” about a Latino brother and sister surviving the streets of Queens and “Man Push Cart” about a Pakistani street vendor in New York City. Bahrani will be in Philadelphia for the showing of “Goodbye Solo” at the Philadelphia Film Festival and Cinefest. Listen to the mp3
