    Listen 00:48:44

Guests: Brian Hickey, Andrew Stober and Denise Goren

Drivers on their cell phones, speeding cars flying through red lights. We’ll talk about the challenges of being a pedestrian in Philadelphia and around the region with Philly Voice journalist and hit-and-run survivor BRIAN HICKEY. We’ll also be joined by ANDREW STOBER, the Vice President of Planning and Economic Development for the University City District, who served as chief of staff of Mayor Michael Nutter’s Office of Transportation and Utilities. He recently wrote an op-ed for the Philadelphia Inquirer about pedestrian safety called “Philadelphia’s other violence epidemic.” We’ll also learn what the current city Administration is doing to keep pedestrian safe with DENISE GOREN, Senior Transportation Advisor to the Managing Director of Philadelphia.
