Yesterday’s gun group protests in Lower Merion

    Listen

Guests: Shira Goodman, Joshua Prince and Dan Baum

Members of Concerned Gun Owners of Pennsylvania and Firearm Owners Against Crime rallied yesterday in a Lower Merion township park to protest a township ordinance related to carrying guns in public parks. Confronted by the threat of a lawsuit, the township Board of Commissioners decided in January not to consider revision of that part of its law. The protest has raised the concerns of gun control advocates and some members of the community. We’ll talk about the rally and all the issues around it with SHIRA GOODMAN, attorney and executive director of CeaseFirePA, and attorney JOSHUA PRINCE who specializes in firearms law. Then we’ll get perspective from DAN BAUM, author of Gun Guys: A Road Trip.
