Yesterday, the Obama administration took its case for intervention in Syria to Capitol Hill in response to the Aug. 21 chemical weapons attack in the suburbs of Damascus. In this hour of Radio Times we’ll look at the political, legal and logistical challenges of military action against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad. We’ll start off talking to Washington Post reporter ED O’KEEFE about yesterday’s events in Congress. Then we’ll hear from McClatchy national correspondent MICHAEL DOYLE about the constitutional and international law requirements of President Obama’s proposed authorization of force.
