Zoo bucks

The Philadelphia Zoo next month will draw up its final plans for new traffic regulations — a $9 million project. Funded largely by a federal transportation grant of $7.18 million, the project will improve traffic flow to and from the zoo.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports the funding will ease traffic at nearby I-76 ramps and enhance bus stops near the zoo and improve the streetscapes and sidewalks.
