Zoning in one Chester County township worries adjacent city

    Ever the controversial topic, zoning matters are getting heated in Chester County.

    As plans move ahead to redevelop a site in East Vincent Township, their Spring City neighbors fear the plans could negatively impact traffic and business in Spring City.

    Patch was at Wednesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting for East Vincent Township where the discussion focused on a property that’s been rezoned for commercial mixed-use. Talks centered around whether retail or housing would be appropriate for the site Spring City residents could detract from its local economy.
