Write Congress to Help Complete the Trail

In March, bicyclists, walkers, and trail users from around the country convened in Washington D.C. to advocate for better policies and laws to improve bicycling and walking in cities, towns, the suburbs and rural areas across America.

A contingent of bicycle and walking advocates from the Philadelphia-Camden region met with members of Congress to thank them for supporting the TIGER application that granted a $23 million award to the region for 10 multi-use path trails. They also asked Congress to support continued funding of additional trail segments to complete the Schuylkill River Trail and East Coast Greenway in Pennsylvania.

You can send a letter to your representatives in the U.S. House and the Senate asking them to support these requests. Hearing from you will demonstrate that there is widespread public support for Completing the Trail and will encourage them to support funding these trail projects.
