Woman struck by 3 cars in North Philly dies

Police are searching for two vehicles in the hit-and-run death of a woman in North Philadelphia.

A police spokesman said the woman was hit by a white car in the Logan section of the city shortly before 5 a.m. Friday.

She was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after 6 a.m. Friday.

Her name has not been released.

Police said the car that struck the victim kept going.

Officials said the victim was then struck by a second vehicle and that driver stopped, but a third driver who also struck her did not stop.
