Wolf marches in first Philly gay pride parade as governor

Pennsylvania’s transgender physician general says the state will pass nondiscrimination legislation during Gov. Tom Wolf’s tenure.

Wolf marched Sunday in his first Philadelphia PrideDay LGBT Parade as governor and tells The Philadelphia Inquirer he needs to do whatever he can to make sure the state is open and welcoming for all.

The state senate last week confirmed Rachel Levine as the state’s physician general. She’s the first transgender person to be appointed to a governor’s cabinet in Pennsylvania.
