    Another round of winter weather is hitting the Philadelphia region.

    Winter storm Nika is responsible for freezing rain, snow and ice accumulation across the region.

    PECO reports power outages in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, with an estimated 300,000 people currently without power in the service area.

    The Weather channel reports that parts of the Schuylkill expressway were closed due to downed trees, but according to ABC6 is now reopened.
