Winter Classic ice rink will be open to the public for skating

Philly sports fans have a unique opportunity available to them next month, but it won’t come cheap.

We’re all looking forward to the Winter Classic — you know, the big Jan. 2 game when the Flyers will play the New York Rangers at Citizens Bank Park. But if you’re not going and still want a chance to see CBP covered in ice, you’ve got some options.
The rink will be open for a few public skating sessions after the game, so you can see and slide on the NHL ice in the MLB venue. Hope your relatives are giving you cash for the holidays, but tickets are $50 to $60. The cheapest way to get in is with a $10 spectator-only ticket. There is one bonus you won’t typically find at a Flyers game: free parking.
