Wildwood mayor indicted on misconduct charges

The Wildwood mayor and city attorney have been indicted on charges of criminal misconduct.

The charges stem from a conflict of interest in 2009 and 2010 in which the prosecutor alleges Mayor Gary DeMarzo used public funds to pay for his defense.

They were also charged with one count of conspiracy to commit official misconduct, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
