Wildwood beaches remain free, but voters may get a say

Wildwood beaches will still be free this summer, but whether that’s the case in the future could be up to voters.

According to the Associated Press, the Shore town might put the question of beach fees up for referendum. But not before other revenue-generating options are considered.

Before you see paid beach tags in Wildwood, you might see cabanas and beach bars.

Most other beaches already charge for access as a way to offset maintenance costs.
