Why ask “why me”?

    When we’re having a terrible day or when tragedy strikes, often, the first question that comes to mind is “why me?”

    Psychologist Dan Gottlieb recently discussed why we ask “why me” in a column for the Huffington Post. In their weekly conversation, he told WHYY’s Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott that asking this question can take us to a dark place.
