Well-known guitarist found dead
Police are trying to figure out what killed local musician Danny DeGennaro.
According to PhillyBurbs.com, the musician’s death is considered suspicious. DeGannaro, 56, was discovered about 10 p.m. Wednesday in his Levittown home.
Authorities say he died of a shotgun wound to the chest, but they are not calling the death a homicide, at least not yet. DeGannaro played guitar with well-known bands such as Kingfish, Grateful Dead and the E-Street Band.
