Weavers Way’s wellness store to hold grand opening Friday

The Philadelphia co-op’s wellness store celebrates its grand opening this Friday, July 27 from 5-8 p.m.

Weavers Way Across the Way as it’s being called is at 610 Carpenter Lane the former site of a yoga studio. It is now attached to the co-op’s pet supply store at 608 Carpenter Lane. It houses many of the products that used to be sold on the second floor of the Weavers Way grocery store just down the street.

“We have a great selection of personal care and wellness products, including vitamins and supplements, herbal remedies, and homeopathics. We have new brands like Blûm, Liddell Laboratories, Dr. Woods, Nunn and J.R. Watkins, and expanded selections from Giovanni, Country Life, Canus, COPA soaps, Dr. Bronner’s, Rainbow Light Vitamins, derma E, Alaffia, Aubrey and Boiron,” said Wellness Department Manager Martha Fuller.

While Weavers Way’s Mt. Airy grocery store, 559 Carpenter Lane, is currently undergoing renovations, the store is staying open via a temporary Pop-up Shop at 555 Carpenter Lane. The grocery store is scheduled to re-open August 31.
