Wawa will expand hoagie empire to Florida

You’ll find a lot of Philly in Florida. Aside from the local ex-pats who retire there and the tourists who head to Disney when they tire of the Shore, our beloved Phillies also spend the early part of Spring there practicing.

And now there’s just one more reason to hit up Florida. Wawa has announced its plans to expand into a new market will focus on the Sunshine State.
    The Inquirer reports
the company has 50 stores in the works, with seven ready in 2012.

The company has found success with its custom hoagie system, gas pumps and the upcoming espresso machines. Now it’s time to see if Floridians will take to it the way we have.
