Showers will persist throughout the day, and there’s a even a chance of a thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service.

The same southerly flow that will keep a threat of precipitation going throughout the day will also draw up warmer air at the Jersey Shore. The breeze will increase during the afternoon.

Temperatures will range from the 50s in northern shore areas to 60s in the south, according to NOAA.

A cold front will sweep through the region tonight, delivering a chance of scattered thunderstorms.
