Voorhees town hall relocates to mall

You can get a lot done at the Voorhees Town Center. You can even live there. As part of the mall’s renovation into a mixed-use development, the shopping center (formerly the Echelon Mall) will include an office building and more than 400 condos and apartments.

The latest addition is the Voorhees Town Hall.

The small New Jersey town has relocated its town hall to the shopping center, as the Associated Press reports. Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, which owns the mall, says the center is only the third mall in the country to be anchored by municipal offices. The new town hall opened Monday.

Editor’s note: This post has been revised to clarify the name of the shopping center.
