Violent weekend in Philadelphia and Chester

    When the rain let up this weekend, things got violent in Philadelphia and Chester.

    Separate shootings here left five men dead and others injured in Philadelphia, while one shooting in Chester sent six to the hospital.

    Sunday, men ages 30, 27, 20, 22 and 23 died from gunshot wounds in five separate incidents in North and West Philadelphia.
    Three others were hospitalized in the shooting that left the 20-year-old dead in Brewerytown.

    Meanwhile in Chester, six people were wounded in a single incident police continue to investigate. Two victims were found at Ninth and Kerlin streets in the early morning and transported to the hospital, and four others arrived at the hospital in private vehicles. At least one victim was unresponsive at the scene.
