Video: driverless car goes for a spin in Wildwood

And you thought things got a little slow in Wildwood during the off-season.

Police and fire officials were called out yesterday afternoon to help stop a driverless car that was going in circles — and backward, no less.

The Cape May County Herald reports the car got out of control when the driver got out to hand the wheel over to a passenger. Wildwood Fire Chief Chris D’Amico managed to get close enough to hop in and stop the car, which was then towed. One of the passengers sustained minor injuries when he tried to get back into the car.
