Victim identified in Wissinoming fire

Authorities have identified the victim of Monday morning’s fire in Wissinoming. Robert Irvine, longtime homeowner of the house on the 4100-block of Howell Street, was found on the home’s first floor after the blaze was extinguished.

A preliminary investigation reveals a cigarette may have caused the fire. Neighbors say the 60-year-old was a horder, and the high piles of objects in the house may have made it difficult for him to move around.
