Veteran sportscaster Jack O’Rourke dies

    CBS 3 is reporting today that veteran radio sportscaster Jack O’Rourke passed away after covering a Phillies game for the station.

    The well known local sports reporter died early Saturday morning.

    O’Rourke brought decades of perspective, serving as a KWY Newsradio anchor and a City Hall Bureau Chief.  CBS 3 reports O’Rourke covered numerous international and national events, from Phillies spring training to the Olympics.

    The Peabody award winner was also very devoted to his family, colleagues told CBS 3.
