Valley Green Inn

The Friends of the Wissahickon began work this week on the Warming Shed at Valley Green Inn. The shed, which is used for horses, burned down in an electrical fire during a storm in October 2010. Equestrians from Courtesy, Monastery, and Northwestern Stables raised $8,000 toward the cost of rebuilding the structure. Buzz Wemple and Mike Souders of FOW’s Structures Crew worked on one of the hottest days last week to take measurements before they begin construction of a new roof for the shed.
