U.S. Senate hearing held in Wilmington

Washington comes to Wilmington today as the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on fighting crime today in the Carvel State Office Building.

Senator Patrick Leahy, who chairs the committee, will be in attendance along with Senator Chris Coons. The hearing titled “Building Safer Communities: the Importance of Effective Federal-Local Collaboration in Law Enforcement,” runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 2nd floor conference room.
