Upper Darby man wins ‘Delco Idol’ contest
Brian McFadden walked away from the Media Theatre stage with $1,500, promotional opportunities and a lesson with Mike Lemon casting. It was all part of the Upper Darby resident’s prize as “Delco Idol” winner.
McFadded will soon appear on Fox29’s Good Day, after inching out 39 others in the five-week-long contest.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports the 24-year-old came out a winner over 21-year-old Riley Duffie of Glen Mills, 18-year-old Melanie Herrera of Nether Providence, 19-year-old Jack Crescenzo of Wilmington, Del., and 19-year-old Jessica Sharples of Berwyn. The four runners-up received $1,000.
