Unsigned letter from team say Holy Family coach’s abuse was accidental
Holy Family University basketball coach John O’Connor has been suspended after video of him hitting and cursing at a player surfaced over the weekend. But a letter from the team says O’Connor’s actions were accidental.
The unsigned letter, as the Inquirer reports, calls O’Connor’s interaction with sophomore Matt Kravchuk “accidental body contact.” Kravchuk was allowed to leave the team with his scholarship intact since a wrist injury from the run-in has left him unable to play.
