Temperatures will rebound back to unseasonably mild levels next week following a cool weekend

According to the National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center, there is a 90 to 100 percent chance of above normal temperatures between Nov. 18 and 22 and a 70 to 80 percent chance of the same condition through Nov. 26.

The average temperature for Toms River in mid-November is around 55 degrees. According to NOAA, high temperatures will be in the lower 60s Monday and Tuesday, rising to the middle 60s for Wednesday and Thursday.

“The culprit?” writes Phillywx.com. “A blocking high setting up just offshore and a strong storm in the Midwest, both of which will allow warmer air to push into the eastern half of the country.”
