Unidentified woman at HUP

An unidentified woman has been lying in a bed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for about four months, reports Don Sapatkin of the Philadelphia Inquirer. On August 13, “Jane Doe” went into cardiac arrest in the Kensington section of Philadelphia and has since slipped in and out of a conscious state.   With no wallet, no leads on any missing persons listings or on her fingerprints, social workers are hoping that a family member or friend may recognize the woman by her three tattoos. For Sapatkin’s full report and images of the tattoos click here.
