Two teens arrested for West Philadelphia High computer thefts

Police recovered more than two dozen computers from a home after arresting two teenagers in connection with a theft from West Philadelphia High School. The rest of the computers — taken from the school last week — remain missing.

Two 17-year-olds were arrested late last week after police responded to a Craigslist post advertising computers, the Associated Press reports. Officers were tipped off by a man who told them he’d purchased a computer from Craigslist for an unusually low price.

The teens — one a West Philadelphia High student, the other a University City High student — removed 60 computers from the school Feb. 21.
