Shortly thereafter, a 54-year-old woman sitting in an enclosed vehicle in the 300 block of Ocean Avenue was struck.

Police say both women, who were in the process of leaving the area due to the incoming severe thunderstorms, suffered minor injuries.

    They’re expected to be ok.
