Two Philadelphia cops arrested for “shake down”

    The District Attorney and Police Commissioner say the two tried to take marijuana from an undercover officer.

    Two Philadelphia police officers have been arrested, accused of trying to shake down an undercover officer.

    The District Attorney says the officers are charged with taking 20 pounds of marijuana that they were going to try to re-sell.

    In July, three officers were arrested for allegedly stealing heroin from drug dealers in the hope of selling it.

    Just last week, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey added 25 more people to the Internal Affairs Bureau that investigates fellow officers.
