Tuskegee Airmen donate archives to Temple University
Named for their training field in Alabama, the Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American fighter pilots. Now, photos, letters and papers from the World War II vets will be housed in Temple University.
As Peter Crimmins and Kim Paynter report, selected portions of the archives will be on display at the university’s Paley Library.
