Trial delayed
The corruption trial for former House Speaker John Perzel and former House Whip Brett Feese has been delayed. Perzel, of Philadelphia, and Feese, of Lycoming County, are among 10 defendants accused of using state-funded technologies to enhance their campaigns.
The Associated Press reports jury selection will begin in late August (pushed back from April) and the trial is projected to begin Sept. 6.
