Trial delayed for Delaware pediatrician accused of sex abuse

The trial for Earl Bradley scheduled to begin tomorrow has been delayed a week, WHYY’s Mark Eichmann tell us. The former Lewes pediatrician will face a judge, not a jury, in the 100 accusations of sexual abuse against him.

Bradley was charged in December 2009 for the assaults on his patients.

The trial delay is due to the death of the judge’s father over the weekend. Proceedings will begin June 7.
