Shannon McDonald yesterday shared a story about a group of Penn grads who are petitioning to change the name of the University of Pennsylvania.
It had been a mere annoyance for them to hear their Ivy League alma mater confused with that state school out in Happy Valley. Ever since Penn State’s football program erupted with a child sex abuse scandal, however, it has become positively unbearable.
An update from yesterday: 25 people have signed the petition.
