Toomey shares his 2012 budget plan, School District budget hearing resumes

    Republican Sen. Pat Toomey will unveil his budget proposal today for the 2012 fiscal year. Susan Philips will take a look at what the plan suggests compared with the original proposal. Toomey will announce details at 12:30 today.

    Tom MacDonald spent the morning talking to teachers in Philadelphia who are picketing education cuts. Later, he’ll be in City Hall for the School District of Philadelphia budget hearing.

    A new report shows housing prices in the suburbs fell faster than house prices in the city. Lizz Fiedler will take a look at the report and talk to experts to better understand the numbers.
