Many in the golf community watched the speech hoping there would be word of when Woods would make a comeback to the sport.  But he remained tight lipped. Nick Borro is head golf professional at Scotland Run Golf Course in New Jersey. He says the speech fell short.

Borro: I thought there was going to be a little bit more on what he’s been doing and what he’s going to be doing going forward, It was a 15 minute apology more or less, which was needed, but I definitely though there was going to be more about where they are going to be going in the future.

Golf blogger Joe Logan says the apology was absolutely necessary and appeared to be sincere.
