Third priest abuse suit names cardinals, Lynn
Frank Finnegan is looking for justice. The Delaware County resident is in Philadelphia today where he and his attorneys have announced a suit against the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Cardinals Anthony Bevilacqua and Justin Rigali, Monsignor William Lynn and Karen Becker of the Archdiocese’s Office of Child and Youth Protection.
The suit alleges sexual abuse by Fr. John Kline, formerly of Philadelphia’s St. Francis Xavier Parish and Roman Catholic High School; and the subsequent cover-up by the Archdiocese. WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler will have the full story later today.
