The state of black arts in Philly

    Our partners at WURD are convening some of Philadelphia’s brightest lights of African American arts and culture for a Black History celebration today.

    WURD Speaks: RISE UP SINGING: THE STATE OF BLACK ART takes place today from 3 to 5 p.m. at the African American Museum of Philadelphia at 700 Arch Street. Guests will include Lorene Cary of Art Sanctuary, Greg Corbin of PYPM, and Warren Oree of the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival.
