The celebration before the game: Eagles fans tailgate ahead of home opener

There are many more Eagles games on the schedule this season, but there’s only one home opener, and it happens to be against a rival from about two hours north.

The Eagles fans took to the stadium parking lots hours before kickoff for today’s game against the New York Giants.

Fans, sporting tailgate tools of all shapes and sizes, cheered and shouted, some even singing the Eagles fight son.

CBS 3 and other TV outlets in Philadelphia were out in full force this morning, capturing eager fans as they awaited the start to the Eagles home schedule.
