Temple University sets up task force to review Freeh report

Temple University has set up a task force to review its policies and procedures following the release of the Freeh report about child sex abuse allegations against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky and the university’s handling of the claims.

The Temple News reports a 13-member task force will examine the report from FBI Director Louis Freeh and provide details of their findings by Sept. 15.
Beasley School of Law Dean JoAnne Epps will be the chairwoman.

The NCAA reacted to the Freeh report Monday, leveling a series of sanctions against Penn State and its football team.
