Telecast sponsor pulls out of ESPN’s coverage of Penn State’s last home football game
Cars.com hasn’t pulled its ESPN telecast sponsorship altogether, but it won’t be sponsoring this weekend’s telecast of Penn State University’s final home game.
USA Today is reporting Cars.com is bailing to uphold its brand “in a way that celebrates the sport, the dedication of its student athletes and the many reputable universities that field teams.”
The website will continue to sponsor other games, but not this weekend’s Ohio State game, as that university is dealing with its own scandal.
