Teenager sworn in as Daniel Boone School Board member

Connor Kurtz, 18, is considering colleges, finding a prom date and starting his gig on the Daniel Boone School Board. You know, the usual.

Kurtz decided to run after becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the board’s decision, and easily won the primary and general elections.
The Pottstown Mercury has video of Kurtz’s swearing-in ceremony Thursday night, where is grandfather, chairman of the Pottstown Water and Sewer Authority, proudly looked on.

Kurtz says he’ll attend all of the board’s meetings next year, no matter where he goes to college.
