Teenager arrested in fatal shooting of Christopher Spence

Police have arrested a teenager for Saturday’s shooting death of Christopher Spence.

Tyrese Ford, 19, has been charged with murder. Authorities say an argument led Ford to shoot Spence, though the two had never met previously.

Ford, of the 2700-block of Croskey Street in North Philadelphia, shot Spence once in the chest Saturday morning at T&T bar in Frankford.

Spence’s family and friends were at a press conference Monday where Councilwoman Maria Quinones-Sanchez and her staff vowed to shut down the bar.
