Teen wounded in New Year’s eve shooting at hotel

    LAKEWOOD, N.J. — A shooting during a New Year’s Eve party at a southern New Jersey hotel has left a teenager wounded, but authorities say the boy’s injuries are not life-threatening.

     

     

    The Asbury Park Press of Neptune reports the shooting at the Best Western Leisure Inn in Lakewood was reported around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

    Police say the shooting occurred outside the hotel, where several parties were being held. But they declined to provide further details on the shooting, the wounded teen or his injuries.

    No other injuries were reported in the incident.
